“Healing is not a transaction; it is a resonance. I have spent my life navigating the subtle frequencies of the seen and unseen. If you have found your way here, it is not by accident—it is because your energy and mine are vibrating on a similar plane. I act as a magnet for those ready for deep, multi-dimensional shifts.” Aura
My journey didn't begin with a certificate—it began with my name. Being named Aura, as my birthname was a prophecy of the life I was meant to lead. I was blessed with a mother who supported my spiritual exploration from day one, creating an environment where the unseen was honored. In that sanctuary, I never had to hide. By the age of three, I was astral traveling and playing and communicating with spirits. By my early teens, I was practicing energy work and navigating the world through a full spectrum of Clair-senses or spiritual senses, all but taste. Energy was my first language.
As I stepped into adulthood, I encountered a different frequency: a quiet pressure that suggested my gifts were "too much" for the public eye. I began to believe I needed to carefully discern who was allowed to see the real me. For nearly two decades in the insurance field, I hid parts of my light out of a very human fear of judgment and rejection. Healing from that silence was a pivotal part of my transformation; I realized that to truly serve, I had to stop hiding and stand fully in my own resonance. I believe a healer cannot guide someone through a forest they haven't walked themselves.
For nearly two decades, I walked a different path in the insurance field—until Reiki found me. While helping my mother, a Reiki Master, at her Reiki I class, I was unexpectedly drawn into the attunement. In that sanctuary, a deep, soul-level call for hospice work dropped into my heart space.
Though I initially resisted, fearing I was too emotionally sensitive to witness the transition of death, the universe persisted. After completing my Master training, two longtime family friends at MultiCare Hospice independently reached out to ask if I would join them. Recognizing this powerful synchronicity, I stepped through the door they opened. It has been eight years since that "yes," and it remains one of the most rewarding commitments of my life—a path where my sensitivity became my greatest strength.
In July 2023, I answered a higher calling to become a Certified Medical Reiki Master. Following the pioneering legacy of Raven Keyes, I traveled alone to Pennsylvania—a journey of "firsts" that required me to put my own growth ahead of every other responsibility. It was a weekend of profound liberation where I was trained in the "Gold Standards" for bringing energy medicine into high-intensity clinical settings like surgery and chemotherapy suites.
I now bridge the spirit realm and the medical world, ensuring no one has to navigate the intensity of a medical crisis without the support of the Light. By implementing the best practices of Medical Reiki, I help patients overcome the fear and stress of major procedures, holding a calm, steady anchor in even the most intense emotional storms.
Since 2018, I have anchored these intuitive gifts within the MultiCare Hospice Comfort Therapy department as a Reiki Comfort Therapist. Sitting at the bedside of those in their final transition has taught me that the most profound healing often happens in the silence between breaths.
I also provide Reiki for MultiCare’s Code Lavender program, offering rapid emotional grounding for healthcare staff during hospital and department wellness events and crisis interventions. These experiences have refined my ability to remain a calm, steady anchor in even the most intense emotional storms.
I believe a healer cannot guide someone through a forest they haven't walked themselves. My life has been a deep, sometimes difficult journey of healing myself on the most rooted levels of body, mind, and spirit.
Because I have done the heavy lifting of my own transformation over the years—moving from guarded discernment back into radiant authenticity—I can hold a safe, unshakable space for yours. This lifelong commitment to my own resonance is what makes Cascading Light Reiki possible today.
To hold space for the profound transitions of hospice and the intensity of clinical Reiki, I must first anchor myself in the rhythm of the Earth. For me, "recharging" is a sensory immersion into everything the Puget Sound has to offer. You’ll often find me finding my own resonance on the water—whether it’s the patience of fishing and crabbing or the quiet glide of a kayak through the water.
My commitment to self-care is as much about movement as it is about stillness. While I center my spirit in monthly sound baths, my Zumba classes are a non-negotiable celebration of life and energy. Whether I’m clamming on a local beach or taking a soul-clearing nature walk, these moments of connection to my family and the land are what allow me to return to my practice with a full heart.
At the center of my world is my life partner and my two sons. My oldest, my foster-adopt son, has taught me the unique beauty of navigating life on the autism spectrum, while my youngest is a true sports fanatic. Between lacrosse and football, being on the field year-round is our "norm." When we aren’t at the sidelines, we are hitting the road for RV camping or embracing our deep love of travel. We are especially drawn to the sunny beaches of Mexico, the vibrant energy of Mexico City, and the rich, ancestral traditions of Michoacán.
Perhaps my most treasured experience has been visiting the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuaries of Michoacán, standing in the presence of millions of migrating souls. That experience—the quiet hum of millions of wings—parallels the delicate, powerful flow of life I witness in my practice. Balancing the quiet of the treatment room with the roar of the campfire and the joy of new horizons is how I stay rooted finding the sacred in both the silence and the celebration.
Whether you are seeking clinical support, a somatic release, or are simply curious about how we might work together, I invite you to reach out. Let’s see where the resonance leads.
