Welcome to the logistical heart of Cascading Light Reiki. To provide a consistent, trauma-informed, and high-quality experience for our Puyallup community, I have outlined the steps for joining our sessions and the policies that protect our shared time.
Transparency is a form of care. By establishing clear boundaries around registration, cancellations, and our 'Path of Embodiment' curriculum, we create a container where true healing and learning can flourish. Please review the details below before completing your intake form.
Whether you are joining us for a focused Training Reset or a Certification Intensive, please follow these steps to secure your space in the circle.
Click the "Register Now" button to complete your Enrollment Form.
For Resets: You will share your current stress "baseline" and wellness goals.
For Reiki 1 & 2: You will provide your certificate spelling, dietary needs for our in-person day class, and your "Why" for stepping onto the practitioner path.
Waiver: All students must review and digital sign the Informed Consent and Practice Policies within this form.
Within 24 hours of submitting your form, you will receive a personalized welcome email and a custom invoice.
Payment: Your space is officially reserved once tuition is received.
Once tuition is finalized, you will receive your "Path of Embodiment" welcome packet:
For Virtual Resets: You’ll receive your Microsoft Teams Classroom link and the weekly Inquiry Prompts.
For Reiki 1 & 2: You’ll receive your Digital Student Manual, the physical address for our clasas intensive, and the "Preparation Guide" to help you ground your energy before our first session.
All virtual Reiki Resets and Reiki Integrations are hosted on Microsoft Teams.
For Desktop/Laptop: You do not need to download the app; you can join directly through your web browser (Chrome or Edge work best).
For Mobile/Tablet: Please download the free Microsoft Teams app from your app store at least 15 minutes before our session begins.
MulitCare Devices: If you are joining from a MultiCare-issued device, please ensure you are logged into your 'Guest' or 'Personal' profile if your security settings prevent joining external Teams meetings.
If you are on-site at a MultiCare facility, using your personal cellular data (hotspot) often provides a more stable connection for external video calls than the guest Wi-Fi.
Camera: I encourage keeping your camera on during the initial learning and integration portion so we can connect and engage with the material together. You are then welcome to turn your camera off during the guided mini-session to deepen your relaxation and focus inward.
Audio: Please ensure you are in a space where you can use headphones or high-quality speakers to best recieve the frequency of the work.
Mute: I will ask everyone to remain on mute during the energy work portion to minimize background distractions for the group.
The Link: Your unique session link will be sent to the email provided in your registration form. If you don't see it, please check your Spam/Junk folder.
Connection Drop: If your internet drops, simply click the original link to re-enter the "lobby," and I will admit you back into the session as soon as I am able.
Audio Issues: If you cannot hear me, check that your device's "Output" is set to the correct speakers or headphones in the Teams "Device Settings" (the gear icon).
The Meditative Buffer: To protect the sacred container of the group energy work, I cannot admit participants from the lobby once the guided Reiki portion has begun.
Persistent Technical Failure: If a persistent technical issue on either of our ends prevents you from participating, please email me as soon as you are back online. We will ensure you receive a recording of the instructional portion or a credit toward a future session.
Please have these "Path of Embodiment" tools ready in your space to support your learning and integration.
The "Baseline" Journal: Please have a notebook ready. We spend the first 5–10 minutes of this training on Somatic Mapping—identifying where stress is currently "held" so you can track the shift.
A "Nesting" Space: While this is a class, the final 20 minutes involve a deep energy integration. Have a chair or floor space where you can be fully supported and comfortable.
Hydration: A large glass of water is required. We will discuss how hydration acts as a "conductor" for the energy techniques we are practicing.
Minimal Distractions: To get the most out of the Active Awareness portion of the class, please ensure you are in a space where you won't be interrupted for the full 45 minutes.
The "Path of Embodiment" Workbook: You will receive a digital PDF upon registration. Please have this printed or accessible on a second device for our weekly Inquiry Prompts.
A Dedicated Learning Journal: Since this series builds skill-upon-skill (from Grounding to Advanced Flow), you will want a consistent place to record your weekly "Nervous System Homework."
Classroom Tech: A stable internet connection for Microsoft Teams.
For those attending the Reiki Level 1 & 2 Intensives, these traditional guidelines help clarify your energy "channel" so you can receive the maximum benefit from the Initiation ceremony.
Daily Stillness: If possible, dedicate 5–10 minutes each day to meditation. This focuses your intention and begins the process of becoming a clear vessel for Reiki.
Substance Awareness: Please avoid alcohol or recreational drugs for at least 48 hours prior to the workshop. These substances can cloud the energetic field and slow the natural flow of Reiki through the body.
Nourishing the Vessel: For at least 24 hours before we meet, avoid meat, processed foods, and "heavy" meals. If possible, enjoy a day of fresh fruits, salads, and vegetables. Digestion is the body's most energy-intensive process; by eating lightly, you preserve that vital energy for your attunement.
The Gentle Start: Rise earlier than usual to avoid the "rushing" energy. Give yourself the gift of a slow, stress-free morning.
Energize Your System: If your body feels called to it, a gentle walk or jog in the fresh Puyallup air will help wake up your physical systems.
Hydrate Mindfully: Avoid caffeine (tea/coffee) which can over-stimulate the nervous system. Choose water or caffeine-free herbal teas instead.
A Light Breakfast: Eat only fresh fruit for breakfast. This keeps your vibration high and your energy focused on the training rather than digestion.
Arrive with Ease: Map your route and leave early. Arriving stressed or rushed can fragment your focus. Give yourself the "buffer time" to settle into the space.
The Open Heart: Come with an open mind, body, and spirit. The depth of your experience is often a reflection of the intention you bring to the circle.
Note: If your medical needs, sensory preferences, or professional schedule require a different morning rhythm, please prioritize your physical safety and stability. Reiki meets you exactly where you are.
Is this a clinical or spiritual practice? Cascading Light Reiki is a bridge. I use trauma-informed, grounded techniques that honor both the physiological nervous system and the traditional spiritual lineage of Reiki.
What if I can't sit still? This is a neuro-inclusive space. Movement, fidgeting, or needing to change positions is fully supported. Your comfort is the priority.
Is the Virtual Reset a private Reiki session? No. While you will experience the restorative benefits of Reiki, the Virtual Reset is an interactive training mini-intensive. It is designed to teach you self-regulation tools and "Path of Embodiment" techniques that you can use in your daily life or clinical practice. Think of it as a "lab" for your nervous system rather than a passive appointment.
What is the goal of the Virtual Reset Series? The goal is skill-building. Over the 4-week series, we focus on the foundational mechanics of energy work, breath, and somatic awareness. You are learning how to "reset" yourself, using the group Reiki field as a supportive environment for that learning.
Reiki Resets: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule. Your payment will be credited toward your next session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable. Exceptions may be made for genuine emergencies or sudden illness at my discretion. Please notify me immediately if an urgent situation arises.
Training Intensives (Level 1 & 2): Because these sessions require significant preparation and have limited seating, we require 7 days' notice for rescheduling to a future training date. If a true emergency or sudden illness occurs within that 7-day window, please contact me immediately. While fees remain non-refundable, your tuition may be credited toward the next available training date at my discretion.
To maintain a high level of personalized instruction, I schedule classes based on individual or small group interest. Please submit the form below to be notified of the next session.
Full Refunds: Available if requested at least 14 days prior to a Training Intensive (minus a small processing fee).
Rescheduling: Because these sessions require significant preparation and have limited seating, we require 7 days' notice to reschedule to a future training date.
Digital Materials: Once the Reiki Level 1 or 2 manual has been sent to you digitally, that portion of the tuition becomes non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation date.
Extenuating Circumstances: As a caregiver myself, I understand that emergencies happen—especially for our MultiCare staff and fellow frontline workers. If an urgent crisis or sudden illness arises within the 14-day window, please contact me directly to discuss options for a one-time tuition transfer or credit.
